Buddha Series, No. 6: Cover Design for 'The Standing Buddhas of Bamiyan'
The images in this series are all based on complex digital manipulations of a photographic detail showing the largest of the two standing Buddha sculptures of Bamiyan, Afghanistan, destroyed by the Taliban in March of 2001.
